2025 Cybersecurity Poster Contest
The submission window for GaDOE’s Cybersecurity Poster Contest is now open, with submissions due by October 31, 2025. Categories are available for students in grades K-12 along with homeschooled students. Please review the contest rules for more information and share the contest flyer with your district and school communities.

Registration Still Open for Rural Education and Innovation Summits
Registration is still open for the Rural Education and Innovation Summits, hosted by the Georgia Department of Education and the Georgia Foundation for Public Education. This year’s theme – Rooted in Rural, Growing Stronger Together – celebrates the innovation, resilience, and collaboration happening in Georgia’s rural districts.
Join us to connect with fellow educators, explore transformative practices, and build lasting partnerships that strengthen our rural communities. Registration closes Wednesday, October 15 and we are now accepting individual registrations. There is no participant limit and districts may send more than five attendees.

Educator Wellness & Leadership Coaching Webinar Series
Join GaDOE and Housman Learning for the Educator Wellness and Leadership Coaching Webinar Series! This four-part series is designed to support educators and school leaders across Georgia with timely, research-backed strategies focused on wellness and leadership. Each webinar will explore relevant topics and offer actionable solutions grounded in evidence-based practices. Sessions will be available statewide, recorded for future access, and presented throughout the 2025-2026 school year.

Thriving Schools Staff Mental Well-Being Summit
Join the State Health Benefit Plan and Kaiser Permanente for the Thriving Schools Staff Mental Well-Being Summit, a special event designed for educators and school staff across Georgia. The summit will be held Wednesday, October 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Gas South Convention Center (Magnolia Room), 6400 Sugarloaf Parkway, Duluth, GA 30097. This interactive event will feature a panel of distinguished mental health professionals focused on supporting the well-being of those who support our schools. Space is limited, so register early to reserve space. You do not need to be a Kaiser Permanente member to attend.
