SB 351 Social Media Policy Submission Deadline

Per SB 351, each district must submit a Social Media Policy to GaDOE by April 15, 2026. Districts were also required to submit an Acceptable Use Policy in August. The Social Media Policy will be submitted to GaDOE using the same tool as the Acceptable Use Policy and the same district staff members will have access to the tool. Districts may choose to include the Social Media Policy as a subset of the Acceptable Use Policy. If this approach is chosen, the comprehensive policy should be submitted using this same process.
