Overview
The ESSER Funding Dashboard provides the public with information on how federal Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds were utilized to enhance student learning, address learning loss, support students’ mental health and well-being, and more.
The dashboard shows spending under all three rounds of ESSER funding – through the CARES Act in May 2020, the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act in January 2021, and the American Rescue Plan in March 2021.

The federal government granted LEAs a carryover period for each of the ESSER grants. Carryover is the process by which unobligated funds remaining at the end of a grant period are carried forward to the next budget period to cover allowable costs.
