Update on Title IV-B (21st Century Community Learning Centers) Funding
GaDOE received communication from the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) today indicating that the U.S. Department of Education (USED) will award Title IV-B funding to states on Monday, and that USED has not made decisions on other unawarded programs including Title I-C, Title II-A, Title III-A, and Title IV-A.

Hospital/Homebound State Board Rule Changes Not Moving Forward
Due to concerns expressed about the proposed changes to State Board Rule 160-4-2-.31 Hospital/Homebound (HHB) Services during the public comment period, GaDOE will not be moving forward with the proposed rule revisions. Superintendent Woods is committed to ensuring that decisions made by the Department keep students first.
